STIK Laško
Hum rises steeply and sharply above Laško to a height of 583 m. The trail to the peak with its magnificent views leads through the forest and low shrubbery. Along the trail, you will find various secured viewpoints (Prižnica, Prepadna udorina and Blaževa skala), a rest stop with an information board featuring Hum vegetation, and a Eucharistic cross just beneath the peak.
The circular sports and recreational hiking trail Pot na Hum has its starting point at Tabor Laško Castle, but it can also be started at Aškerčev trg in the center of Laško. The trail leads from the starting point of the trail first to the top of Hum (583 m), then over three peaks to the hamlet of Zahum and to Blaževa skala, and from there on to the starting point of the trail at Tabor Castle.
Hum Hill is a trademark of Laško and rises steeply and sharply above the town up to a height of 583 m. The path to the top, from where a beautiful view is revealed, leads through the forest and dwarf shrubs. Along the way, there are several protected viewpoints (Prižnica, Prepadna udorina, Blaževa skala and the top of Hum), a rest area with information boards of vegetation Hum, and just below the top there is a Eucharistic cross. At the top is a registration book for hikers and a stamp of the trail, as well as an info board with an indication of the side of the sky and an indication of the surrounding hills. Vrh Hum is one of the most popular points of our tourist destination Laško, and Pot na Hum is the most visited thematic hiking trail. It is visited by between 30,000 and 40,000 people a year.

Tips and suggestions
The trail is connected with the town of Laško and the attractions it offers, as well as with the Thermana Laško complex. There is also a connection between the A8 promenade - the Spa Trail, which runs at the foot of Hum. The path to Hum was completely rehabilitated in 2011, many stairs were arranged to the top for easier and safer walking, the most dangerous places and also the lookout points were protected with a steel cable. Until then, the 700 m long path to the top became a circular path with a total length of 3.8 km. With the hike to Hum in the month of April, we traditionally start the campaign of organized and guided hikes along the Laško trails every year.
