The hiking trail Trådi is located near the village of Jeppo, and offers three different alternatives regarding route length: 4 km, 7 km or 10 km. The route featured in Outdooractive is the 10 km version, known along the route as "Langtrådi", which loosely translates from local/regional Swedish dialect to "the long trail" (a "tråd" means a path that has been forged by trampling). The trail is maintained by Jeppo Byaråd, the local village association.
The trail takes you through a variation of forestry. A few notable features along the way are several bronze age burial sites and erratic rocks and boulders from the ice age.
The trail starts off by Måtarsberget (see this parking spot for details), address Måtarsgränd, Jeppo. You will find a guide board showing you and overview of the trail at the starting point, where you will also find map sheets available - in case you didn't bring your own printout of the map.
Duck boards and walk planks are in good condition as of june 2019.

Even though the duck boards and walk planks are in good shape, take caution in case it has been raining lately. There are certain rocky parts where you need to watch your step, as well.Tips and suggestions
You can visit Trådi any day you like, but in order to avoid pests and insects a sunny and lightly windy day in summer could prove to be the best.
Please check out the map in the app in the future for more tips regarding restaurants and services in the vicinity!
