A pleasant route in the Western Tatras, with the destination being a cozy chalet.
The Chalet under Náružie (Červenec) is nestled in the heart of the beautiful natural scenery of the Western Tatras, surrounded by Babky, Malá and Veľká kopa, Ostrý, Sivý vrch. The route to the chalet starts at the beginning of the Bobrovec valley, specifically in the Bobrovec limeworks area.
Author’s recommendation
On the way, you will also find a partisan bunker from the World War II period. It is located roughly in the middle of the ascent along the forest road on the right side. It is a rock overhang where in the winter of 1945 eight men from Bobrovec survived several weeks during World War II.

There are no refreshment stops on the route. Small refreshments are provided by the buffet at the Chalet under Náružie.
Roadbook
The route follows the blue trail by the Calvary along the forest road through the Pod Babkami crossroads on a path, then along a forest road up to the Chalet under Náružie.
The most beautiful but physically demanding access path leads from Bobrovec limeworks along the blue trail. In the forest, an unmarked path branches off through the “White Springs,” further between the rocks of Sokol and Mnich (a more difficult section secured with chains) and connects to the main access road in Nižný Červenec (15 minutes to the chalet). This route is recommended only with an experienced guide.
