We start the easy-to-walk hike directly at the hotel, walk around the Badersee on the right side, and continue straight into the forest. We follow the path further to the Christlhütte on Eibsee Street, cross it, and keep left on the other side of the street. In a not too strenuous incline, it goes uphill until we meet the street again. We follow this for about 250 m downhill to the Eibsee and reach the shore path. Along the shore, we now circle the lake from south to north. Wonderful views await us of the crystal-clear, green shimmering water, bordered by coniferous trees.
The panorama from the northern shore of the lake to the Zugspitze is unique. The northeastern end with the small beach is a good place to take a break and let the view sink in. We now cross the low bridge and take the short path back to Eibsee Street. From here, we return on the already familiar path down to the hotel.
