Through the Suchá Belá gorge

The entrance to the gorge just behind Podlesok is inconspicuous, yet the valley hides a number of stunning waterfalls, along which you will climb via sets of ladders. In summer, queues sometimes form there. Misové Waterfalls, Okienkový, Korytový and Bočný Waterfalls. The passage through the gorge leads to the crossroads above Suchá Belá. After refreshment at the Kláštorisko Cottage, we decided on the still unconquered route to Hrabušice. We set off to the Carthusian Bridge over the Hornád. According to the remains of tracks worn into the limestone, centuries ago it was the route supplying the monastery at Kláštorisko. Thus, the bridge over the Hornád also makes sense. During the war, the occupying forces blew it up to complicate supply to the partisans. After refreshment at the bistro near Letánovský Mill, we continue over the hills above the Prielom Hornádu gorge through the peaks Ihrík and Zelená hora towards Podlesok. However, we finally turned off across meadows directly towards Hrabušice.
