The route leads from the market square over Klosterstraße through the "Törle" into the grounds of the monastery founded in 1183. With the baroque library hall in the "New Monastery" and the St. Magnus Church, two jewels of the Upper Swabian Baroque Route can be admired here. From St. Magnus Church, the route goes through the old monastery over Biberacher Straße alongside the renatured Schussen River through the Enzisholz Forest. Wood wheels from the Neolithic period were found here in the moor. Continuing through the forest and on field paths, the hamlet of Hervetsweiler is reached. A hamlet is a small settlement in open countryside, often just a single farm with its outbuildings.
Continuing on a field path, through a forest, along the "Lower Reed", the route passes through Enzisweiler to Kürnbach. There, the district open-air museum displays Upper Swabian buildings and residential culture from several centuries. Through the village, the route leads to the railway bridge and finally back to the market square along a footpath.
