Hiking trail through attractive beech and mixed forest and across meadow paths, past biotopes, pond facilities, and slag heap.
The path is designed in a flower shape with three loops around a central circular route, which are connected in the south, middle, and north to a central connecting path.
1st loop: direction Landsweiler and Buchenkopf, partly along an old miner's path, past the Gegenort shaft.
2nd loop: along the old miner's path towards the slag heap (formerly Kohlwald mine), biotope, post-mining landscape, view towards Wiebelskirchen and the Höcherberg region
3rd loop: fish pond, biotopes with pond facilities, forest pasture
