Hiking tip for the THREE LAKES VIEW:
The hike starts at the parking lot at the confluence of the two streams, the Zimitzbach and the Toplitzbach (the young Traun) in Grundlsee. First, a few hundred meters on the forest road, then turn right to the "Ranftlmühle" at the Zimitzbach. Then another stretch on the forest road until shortly before the end where the trail turns right. Now on a forest path, the former alpine path to Kammertret, about 2 1/2 km gently uphill until another forest road. This forest road now leads up and down in an easterly direction for about 3 km. Shortly before the end of the forest road, turn right again onto the former alpine path towards Kammertret and Lackenhütte. After about 20 - 30 minutes, turn left into the Wände on a secured trail and then reach the viewing platform with the "Three Lakes View". The return is on the same route as the ascent.
