You start from the Planer Höhe hiking parking lot and follow the signs to the Dolme (which it is not) and shortly after the turnoff to this natural phenomenon, you reach the multiple trail junction. Here you turn left continuing on the Nurtschweg (yellow-red-yellow) and after a few meters of ascent, you reach the Schellenberg ruin with its lookout tower. The view is quite decent. The view from the Havran is really brilliant. For this, continue on the Nurtschweg, past the Brotfelsen. A little further and you reach a wooden pavilion. From here you follow the gravel road, which also hosts the E6 trail. After about 400 meters of gentle ascent, this forest road merges into another. You turn left, but only briefly, because shortly after the E6 disappears to the right into the forest, where after 250 meters it reaches the German-Czech border (white poles with blue tops). Here you turn right, leaving the E6.
After about 100 meters along the border strip, the white-green-white trail turns left and leads you up to the Havran (1). Once at the top, keep left and you reach the lookout tower.
After climbing the tower, continue on the white-green-white trail. This path takes you to Ostruvek. But there are two detours to note: after descending from the Havran, at the junction with the white-red-white path and the shelter mushroom, turn left. The second “Zipfelhütte” of Zlaty Potok (Goldbach) (2) is open! And if no one is there, drinks are available self-service. Back at the junction, follow the white-green-white path. After a wooded ascent through a large left bend, you reach another signposted junction. Here a short path to the Selmberk ruin (3) branches off (green triangle). Take this short detour; the rock summit on which the small ruin once stood can be climbed by an iron ladder.
Then continue to Ostruvek (4), which is still being renovated. Information is available at the info board in the village!
Now continue on the bike path, namely on path no. 2134A. At the end of the clearing, follow the road to the left and cross a stream. 222 meters later choose the right fork (not to Rendezvous) and cross a wooded area to soon encounter the white-green-white path again and then reach Stará Knizeci Hut (5) (Altfürstenhütte). From here follow the white-red-white path, first reaching what is probably an old military facility at the forest edge and to the left a grave for 38 victims of a death march. Now walking in the forest, continue along the bike path and soon let the red path branch off to the right. You continue on bike path 2138.
In a right curve, you reach the place where Neuweiherhäuser once stood. At the junction choose the right turn (past the rest bench and the Waldheim info board).
In Waldheim you quietly reach Bavarian soil again. But here you follow the yellow-red-yellow signs of the Nurtschweg, which takes an interesting ascent through a field immediately behind Waldheim. The path then follows the border and in the village of Neudorf you can have some fun with a border stone on a Schüsselstein.
Then past the chapel with a view and through the forest to the old mill of Gehenhammer.
After another rest, follow the interesting signage of the Nurtschweg over a cow pasture. After 180 meters in the forest on the Nurtschweg, do not follow it left to the forest road but continue straight ahead. Single trail. (Shortly before the clearing keep left.)
After 600 meters, this path merges back into the Nurtschweg. Cross the Drachselbach. At the next T-junction of forest roads go straight ahead, deep into the forest. (Check: orange poles with high voltage warning). Following this wonderful single-trail path, you arrive back at the hiking parking lot, where the car is already waiting impatiently.
