The Sentiero del Ponale

From the hydroelectric power plant of Riva del Garda, head south to the start of the hiking path on the right before the tunnel. The route with its breathtaking view then runs high above the lake along the slopes. The first stage ends at the Belvedere (bar service during the summer months). Depending on your mood, you can end the route here and return to Riva along the same path or ascend right into the Ledro Valley or left towards Pregasina. Before returning the same way (about 1.5 hours) or using public transport, you can enjoy a pleasant stop here. The “Old Ponale Road” is clearly visible from Riva and Torbole.
