The Ramini Eel Trail

From Laces (638 m), head south for a short distance until you reach a crossroads, then turn left and follow the signpost "Tarsch", first on a wide path and then on the access road up to the village of Tarsch (854 m) and through the village on the road leading to the Tarsch alpine pasture up to the last houses and the large bend to the left, where the signpost "Raminiwaal" points to the Waalweg. Now take the short access path up to the actual Waalweg (irrigation channel path) and follow it on a level hike through the forest slopes westwards to the rather inconspicuous house of the Latscher Elektrizitätswerk (electricity plant); there on the bridge over the nearby Raminibach stream, at the next fork in the path (the pretty deer promenade continues on the left) turn right and take the wide goods path down to Latsch.
