Cozy yet versatile loop around Moosbach. Scenic heights alternate with idyllic paths in the Pfreimd and Tröbesbach valleys. The Glass Grinder's Trail, which we partly use on our hike, connects many of the mills that flourished as glass grinders in the 19th century. Particularly impressive is the Gebhardsreuth loop built from fieldstones.
From the parking lot at the spa park in Moosbach, turn right past rock cellars and the mini-golf course into the spa park. After the Gruber brook, turn left, then follow the sign "Path to the Wieskirche via Grub" to the right. Turn left in Grub, then it is worth taking a detour with no. 7 down to the Wieskirche at the Christ cross. Back at the cross, proceed left with no. 6, then right towards Gebhardsreuth out of the village. At the next unmarked junction, turn left and head towards Strehberg. Around the small woodland on the left, then right past the viewing benches, and shortly afterwards a right turn for a detour to the slightly overgrown viewpoint with an information board on Strehberg. Return to the junction and take a grassy path to the right, then left down the hill. On the small road turn right with no. 8, and before the hamlet of Strehberg turn right again and follow along the Pfreimd brook. At the forest edge, a shortcut is possible using hiking trail 8 (variant 3). Our path
