The approximately five-kilometer-long path is particularly scenic. On one side, it crosses the upper area of the extensive mountain meadows of Cisles, while on the other, it is directly overshadowed by the magnificent rock formations of the Geisler group.
Ascent: Initially from the northeast edge of St. Christina in Val Gardena with the Col-Raiser cable car (valley station 1551 m) up to Col Raiser (2107 m) and from there on foot past the Odles Hut on a wide path (signposted »Panascharte«, initially Mark. 1, later 2) through meadows moderately ascending to the Troier Hut (refreshment point, 2271); from Col Raiser approx. ¾ hour. High path: From the Troier Hut a few minutes further uphill to the crossing path 2 B (approx. 2350 m), on this to the right crossing the grassy slopes of the Cisles Alm under the Geisler peaks mostly flat to the Pieralongia Alpine hut with refreshment point (2297 m; near the namesake rock tooth), then crossing the grassy slopes again to the junction of path 2 B into path 13 (approx. 2180 m) and on this sharply turning right over flat ground down and out to the Regensburger Hut (2037 m; summer operation); from the Troier Hut 2 hours. Descent: From the Regensburger Hut on the unpaved access road (always Mark. 1)
