Route:
From the parking lot, head towards the Casino, follow the sidewalk to the roundabout that serves Chamrousse. Take the small path in the grass, pass behind the Aero jump of Uriage and take a left into the Pre Metral dead-end to go past the stairs on the right along the hedge; this is the start of the Bit circuit marked by blue stripes. The wooded path climbs a bit, passes the Vacher then the Davids (570m). Shortly after, the route offers a variant passing near an equestrian center, but we will take the right path "Le Bit 2.5 km," a very pleasant path crossing two footbridges over the Vernon stream descending from the Chamrousse station. Continue to rejoin the variant path, go right, the path still climbs between two dry stone walls. After a final effort, we arrive at the Naclard path, which we follow to the left. After 400m, leave it and take a left onto a path leading to some old houses; this is the Bit (890m), a quiet and pleasant spot for a midday break.
Continue right, pass in front of the houses to rejoin the Naclard path, which we leave shortly after to head left. This path leads us to a beautiful meadow, with views of Grenoble, the Chartreuse, the Vercors, and the Moucherotte. Continue to Chavanoz (713m), the descent leads us to the Bouloud road, pass the municipal swimming pool, cross the intersection, heading towards the cemetery via the Agneaux path.
Continue to the Breduire stream (380m), join the departmental road D524 of Sonnant, after about 100 meters take the left path that crosses the footbridge over the Marais stream and continue to the parking lot.
