Follow path 6 starting from Perletoa Inferiore/Onder Perletoa/Tschemenoal and arriving at Testa Grigia (3315m).
The path starts from the hamlet of Tschemenoal in Gressoney Saint Jean. The first part is quite steep with steps and crosses a larch and fir forest until reaching the ancient Walser village of Alpensu Grande where there is a refuge with rooms and kitchen. Continuing, you meet the Montil Inferiore alpine pastures at 2001 meters and then those of Loasche at 2466 meters still used for sheltering grazing animals. Subsequently, you reach Colle Pinter at 2777 meters where it is possible to descend into the nearby Val d'Ayas. Turning right, you climb a very steep section leading to the Lateltin bivouac at 3132 meters equipped with about 20 beds. Continuing to the left, you reach the ridge of Monte Pinter which, with demanding passages including the use of hands, leads to the summit of Testa Grigia; the view here is fantastic and your eyes can roam over all the 4000-meter peaks of the Aosta Valley.

Roadbook
Start by climbing a steep path leading to Alpenzù at 1779 m, pass between houses and the fountain which can be used to refill water, then continue uphill to the left, following signs for Colle Pinter, passing shepherds' huts such as those of Alpe Loache at 2355 m. The final part of the path leading to Colle Pinter at 2777 m becomes quite steep. From the pass, where you meet the ascent coming from Val d'Ayas, continue by veering right, climbing steep debris slopes and a gully which lead to the Lateltin bivouac at 3120 m. From here you cross a scree and reach the ridge, initially wide and rocky, until it becomes rocky. You directly overcome a short wall allowing access to the ledge on the East side. This ledge is wide and presents no major difficulties in the absence of snow. After traversing about 50 m in length, you reach a small rocky gully which you climb; fixed ropes are also found but are not essential. With some easy climbing moves (I/I+), you reach the rocks that precede the comfortable and panoramic summit.
