There is much to see on this small circuit above Terenten, some of which also provokes thought. Here, the water of the Terner Bach (sometimes) still moves old, heavy millstones, bread is baked according to grandma's recipes, animal feed is stacked in "dino eggs" while the cows stand in the barn instead of grazing outside; here, the ancient Flitschhof shows its sun-darkened wooden skeleton, while in the village, concrete walls are being built diligently for tourists. South Tyrol - also a land of contrasts.
The small circuit begins at the main road in Terenten. You first follow it towards Pfalzen until sign 1 leads left into a side street. Through the houses and over meadows to the road into the Winnebachtal. Shortly uphill on it, then left past the last farms up to the edge of the forest. On the "Promenadenweg" with an unobstructed view to the Dolomites to the west to a road that rises up to Flitschhof, 1435 m. Behind it flat to the Terner Bach and past the Terner mills down to the road. At the permanently closed Jenneweinhof, 1330 m, you stand directly opposite the Terenten earth pyramids. Further along the Terner Bach downhill, to the left bank and past the Sporthotel Sonnenparadies back to the center of Terenten.
