Terminio Loop

The proposed loop starts from Campolaspierto and follows trail 101. Shortly after, at the first "gate", keep slightly to the right to take trail 102 to reach, after about twenty minutes at a steady pace, the "Acque degli Uccelli" refuge. Then continue on trail 102 until reaching the "Acque delle Logge" refuge. Here, following the GPS track, a small off-trail section will be done along a drivable path leading to Cerbetello, on the east side of Colla di Basso. On the left is the Sentiero Italia, which ascending the "scale" of Terminio will lead to the Terminio sub-peak. This section is particularly challenging due to slope, terrain, and exposure on the rocky ridge in several areas. This part in winter / early spring may have snow and ice, making adequate equipment indispensable. After passing the scale, you reach the summit. From there, descend to Campolaspierto following trail 101.
