From the Hotel Tenno Lake (opposite the parking lot and bus stop), the route leads to Lake Tenno and then uphill into the terrain. Along the way, some holiday homes can be admired until the path leads to the San Pietro refuge. The return route is the same at the beginning until you turn towards the mountain village Canale.

The path leads from Tenno to the lake, then turns right and continues to Frioc away from the lake. You must follow the signposted path to Bastiani and continue to Monte San Pietro (1075 m). Unfortunately, there is no longer a great view as the trees have grown too tall. On the way back, you hike towards Rifugio San Pietro (La Me Baita). From there, the same path leads back to Bastiani, where you turn to Canale, follow signs to the center of Canale and then follow the signs to Tenno.
