Teisbach route

This route takes us into the valley of the Teisbach and up to the Heimlichleiden chapel. We start our route in Teisbach. (GPS: Zum Bach, 84130 Dingolfing / OT: Teisbach). The parking lot is at the end of the street at a turning area. We follow the marking "Hiking Trail 2," which takes us over a field path further into the Teisbach valley. A wonderful landscape. After 400 meters, take a meadow path to the left and cross the Teisbach on a footbridge. Now it goes steeply uphill as the Kreuzweg lies ahead. Through the forest, over meadows, but always on great paths, it steadily goes uphill. At the top, we reach a road and turn to the Heimlichleiden chapel. Behind the chapel, turn left and now follow "Hiking Trail 2," which takes us over fields toward the forest. After 600 meters, you reach an intersection where we turn left. It goes a bit straight through a beautiful forest and then downhill into a hollow. After 600 meters, shortly before leaving the forest, turn right. This section is unmarked. We follow a forest path uphill again, and after 200 meters, keep right. Another forest path brings us back to the marking "Hiking Trail 2." On the familiar path, it goes back to the Heimlichleiden chapel. For the way back to the starting point, we use "Hiking Trail 3" again, which takes us down the Kreuzweg into the valley of the Teisbach. This section is really great. At the footbridge over the stream, we make a small detour into the marsh area and enjoy the idyll before returning via the field path to the starting point.
