Summit hike to the Viehausalm Wetterkreuz

Scenic route over the Viehhausalm up to Wetterkreuz!
The route starts at the Himmelsknoten parking lot above the Holzlehenbauer in the Grossarl valley. From here you walk along the forest road to the intersection before the Mooslehenalm. From here you can choose to continue on the forest road or take the narrow hiking trail over the Mooslehenalm. The way up offers a magnificent view over the whole valley. Upon arrival at the Viehhausalm , the path continues via a narrow trail to the Wetterkreuz at 1849 meters. Downwards, you go back the same way to the Viehhausalm . After a refreshment at the Viehhausalm , continue on the forest road to the Igltalalm. This lies in a narrow basin and invites you to a cozy rest. There are also countless play opportunities for children. Afterwards, return on the forest road back to the Himmelsknoten parking lot.

Roadbook
In the Schied district, drive up the Bergstraße to the right up to the Himmelsknoten parking lot above the Holzlehenbauer. From here continue via the forest road to the Mooslehenalm. Then continue via the path towards the Viehhausalm and Wetterkreuz. Return via the forest road to the Igltalalm and finally back to the Himmelsknoten parking lot.
