Author’s recommendation
We recommend stopping at the Obergaßalm. It is very rustic – just how you imagine an alm.

Roadbook
You start at the SternAlm and go up along the forest road. Past the Kreistenalm and over the "Kniebeisser" path to the Obergaßalm. This section is quite steep. From the cable car station, you follow the path to the Geisterberg, then past the right side of the Geisterberg. There is a small descent before the path turns right again to the lake. A round around the lake - this place is truly a power spot - and then the final ascent to the Sonntagskogel.
Downhill, you return the same way.
