This peaceful forest hike repeatedly encounters the young Lobach and its modest tributaries. Together, they drain the Sulzberg ridge and the invigorating Senkelewald.
We begin our circuit at the station in Seeg, 820 m. First, we head north over the tracks and under the district road on a pedestrian path. We walk down Lohmühlweg and before the Lobach bridge take Burgstallweg. Then, a signboard at Burgstall Seeg-Burk provides information about the former French motte, a medieval water castle.A footpath leads us with a mountain view over the Lobach into the Burk district. At the chapel, we choose the field path leading straight uphill and hike past a homestead straight on an initially paved farm road with a slight descent by wide wet meadows and patches of moor forest. A cross path takes us towards Haflinger Hof to the Jodquelle property. After a ridge, starting at the Kubbach bridge, we overcome a forest slope on a path. Afterwards, the sign points over a pathless horse pasture to the high-lying hamlet of Vordersulzberg, 889 m, already belonging to Roßhaupten, with the well-known country hotel and the horse stable Haflinger Hof.On a field path, we now
