The hike runs partly on asphalt, forest, woodland and meadow paths and about 200 meters off-path.
The inclines are not significant except for one exception. After the Eckbauer property, where we turn to the Stummerkogel again, 100 meters of elevation are a bit steeper.
Author’s recommendation
After a long rainy period, it can be quite muddy in places, but it can almost always be avoided.

The hike follows the existing network of paths on the Schweizersberg and offers wonderful viewpoints to the surrounding mountains. Starting at path no. 17, then on the Grabner farm road, at the Grabner property turn left to the Gschwandt property, at the house turn left uphill towards Stummerkogel, in the forest we meet path no. 17 again, there turn right continuing to the wildlife feeding area below Stummerkogel, here turn left into the forest towards Hanslbauer, on path 17b down to Pießling, then turn right on 17a further towards Waldhof, please observe the barrier and take the marked detour, about 300 meters after the Eckbauer property turn right on path number 17 a bit steeper about 100 meters in one go. If after the steep section you see the Pyhrgas group in front of you, at the signpost (path kilometer 7.2) turn sharply left on the meadow back. There is no marking here. Walk along the ridge a few hundred meters along the forest edge with the Pyhrgas group behind you to a tractor track. Follow this to the right and after a few hundred meters on the right is the Dwarf Forest. Then continue on this tractor track to Pension Christa. There turn right up the hill and you are back on the marked paths. Now it goes slightly downhill and through the forest further towards the Stummer property, there turn right past it and you reach path no. 17 again. Soon you will be at the summit of the Stummerkogel. Here you can sign the summit book. Below the summit at the wildlife feeding area you have closed the first figure-eight loop of the Stummerkogel figure-eight. From here you stay on path no. 17 back to the starting point of your hike. When you are back at the junction of the Grabner farm road, you have also closed the second loop. And now just 15 minutes to the well-deserved beer at the Sengsschmied inn.
