The circular route "Stuibenfälle - Ministersteig" has become one of the most beautiful short circular routes since the newly built suspension bridge. Narrow footpaths lead repeatedly down to the stream. If you like, you can follow the stream itself. After the waterfall above the ravine, the broad valley rises gently up to the large Stuibenfall. From there, you reach the small Plansee. Here you have the opportunity to visit the small chapel "Frauenbrünnele", or to hike around the Plansee (the second largest lake in Tyrol) and Heiterwangersee (the scheduled boats can also take you part of the way / timetable). Alternatively, you can cross the water and walk back to the starting point over the so-called "Ministersteig" via the suspension bridge, as already explained. In summer, the ponds are very popular for cooling off. Along the Ministersteig, you will find some benches from which you have a wonderful panoramic view of the Stuibenfälle and the Reutte valley basin.
In the past, the masses of water flowing from the Plansee were enormous. However, since the EW-Reutte constructed the pressure tunnel, the spectacular times of the Stuibenfälle have ended. Today, the waterfalls are often used for the trendy sport of canyoning, which is offered by local mountain guide offices, or simply for young and young-at-heart for "Gumpen jumping" – pond jumping.

From the transformer station, you continue on foot. Here begins the Hermannsteig, which draws into the valley along the Stuibenfälle. On a good and secured path past small waterfalls, you reach open terrain and over beautiful forest grounds to the large Stuibenfall. The path continues in switchbacks up to the Kanzel and further to the second, somewhat smaller waterfall. At the upper end of the Stuibenfälle, you reach the small Plansee. Not far from there, you can visit the pilgrimage chapel Frauenbrünnele. From the chapel, you walk again about 200 m along the heavily trafficked road from Reutte to the Plansee towards the Plansee. After about 200 m, a frost path branches off to the left at the outflow of the small Plansee. You follow this uphill to the signposting "Ministersteig". From here, you can follow the good signage downhill via a narrow forest path.
