Location: 76891 Rumbach is located in the Dahner Felsenland, Wasgau / southern Palatinate Forest, Southwest Palatinate district – near the border with Alsace.
At the “Kirchdöll parking lot” go left past the cemetery hall. A very short, moderate incline must be overcome. Then the round tour leads over meadow paths to a resting place, over a short forest path and natural paths it goes to Pfaffenberg (paved path) with a wonderful panoramic view. In Rumbach you can visit the Generations Park “In den Heuwiesen” (bike path) with a nice playground. Straight ahead it continues over the main street to the right, then left into the local street back to the “Kirchdöll” parking lot.

Note: The Pfaffenberg tour by the tourism information in Dahn goes at Pfaffenberg via a steep downhill path “red bar marking” to Bruchweiler-Bärenbach to Otto-Muck-Straße and on the right further to the Wasgau fresh market with cafeteria via the Industriestraße. At the end of Industriestraße it continues at Falkeneck (gas station right further over the bike path left to Rumbach). 6.6 km tour: https://www.outdooractive.com/de/r/55876634

Do not enter closed paths for your own safety. Follow the detour signs.
Please take your trash with you (paper, plastic, drink cans, bottles). Do not leave dog bags in the forest / terrain. In the park in Rumbach there are trash bins and a dog bag container.
