Störzelbergrunde

Start at the parking lot in front of the cemetery and first walk back down into the village to the former Morbach fire pond. Here turn right into Zum Glockenturm street. At the end of the street turn right onto Lindenstr. At the village exit, walk another 200 m along the footpath next to the county road until a paved field path branches off to the right. After 100 m, immediately turn left onto a meadow path. Now follow the path for 1.57 km before the path ascends a hollow way to the right. Marking: Green circle with the number 1. The forest path then continuously climbs until you reach a clearing. Stay left at the edge of the forest behind the elevated hunting stand, continue straight into the forest. Follow the path for about 20 meters and then go left down to the little spring. REST AREA. Before the spring, the path goes down the forest to the right and then along the ridge to the right. Follow the trail for 750 m until you reach the Störzelberg. When leaving the forest, please stay on the path to the left. You will pass through a thicket to the viewpoint. REST AREA. Please do not leave the paths. The entire area is a poor grassland biotope. From the viewpoint, go back a little way on the path until a meadow path leads down into the valley to the right. Follow this path until you reach a paved service road. Continue straight on the road for about 550 m. Then you will come to the orchard meadow. REST AREA. Here turn left and you will return to the parking lot.
