The starting point of the route is the Bürgerau car park in Saalfelden. From there, it first goes uphill along a shaded forest trail, then through meadows to the Steinalm. Ideal for families and those seeking relaxation. Along the hiking trail is a nature educational path that provides information about forest, alpine pasture, and limestone high alpine areas. The information boards describe both the habitats and the animal and plant life found there. A special highlight: the path leads past Kuhloch, a cave of geological significance. The Steinalm offers not only tasty regional delicacies but also typical alpine animals that keep hikers company during their rest.
