Stara Baska Circular Route

We start at Camping Skrila in Stara Baska and follow road No.5125 about 1.8km to the second hiking signpost junction with the indication Veli hlam 1h30. Here, turn left steeply uphill, suddenly entering a rocky landscape. In switchbacks, we follow the red-white-red marked path up to about 300m where the path then flattens and we hike along the ridge past the Jasenova cave to the Vratudih junction (350m). There is a nice view towards Baska here.

We continue left and follow the ridge towards the summit of Veliki Hlam (482m).

From the summit, we then descend the ridge to the left, passing a small water source (Spuhotina) towards Stara Baska. After about 1.4km, we turn left at Kanjine and follow the markings towards Stara Baska. In Stara Baska, we turn right onto road No.5125 and follow it about 1.2km back to Camping Skrila.
