After a short stay in Bregenz or the even more beautiful Lindau, from where you can cross by ferry or also arrive by bus or train, the Alpine crossing planned here as an 11-day tour from Bregenz to Bolzano begins with the first stage. On the technically easy and often on forest roads uphill route from Bregenz via Wolfurt to the elevation on the Buggenegg, you can get well prepared for the Alpine crossing on a travel day. At some points, there are fantastic views of Lake Constance and the surrounding area. You overcome the first meters of elevation very comfortably before going through green meadows into the small Alberschwende. There, the holiday apartment(!) Barta is recommended for only €30 per person and overnight stay. Here you can indulge in the last luxury of your trip.
