Disabled parking spaces and a disabled toilet are available at the Tegelberg valley station at the departure point. It is accessible with a Euro key, which can be borrowed from the ticket office. The toilet is only open during the opening hours of the Tegelbergbahn.
As this is a circular hike, it can be started at any time. In Schwangau town hall (Deichelweg), for example, there is also a disabled parking space and a disabled toilet. However, this is only open during the opening hours of the town hall.

Roadbook
The easy circular walk begins at the Tegelbergbahn car park in Schwangau. Accessible parking spaces and accessible toilets are available there.
From the car park, the path leads towards Schwangau. For the first 500 meters, there is a moderate slope of 4% going about 20 meters downhill. After crossing a wide wooden bridge, turn right and follow the gravel path along the "Pöllat" stream. After about 600 meters, the path crosses a lightly trafficked paved road. Shortly before that, there is another slight descent.
Then turn left onto the paved road leading directly to the pilgrimage church St. Coloman. After about 500 meters, you reach the church, where numerous resting benches invite you to linger.
After a short break, continue your hike towards Schwangau. On the bike path along the B17, you reach the village directly and then follow the sidewalk to the town hall. Here, turn left into Deichelweg. Along the path, enjoy an impressive view of the Schwangau mountain backdrop as well as the royal castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. A resting bench invites you to pause and enjoy the panorama.
Following Deichelweg, you eventually reach a cross street. Turn left onto the sidewalk there. After a few meters, cross Colomanstraße and follow the path along the street with more resting benches back to the starting point. The last section leads 500 meters uphill again with a slope of 4%, gaining 20 meters in elevation.
