The Spitzbühl circuit in the west of the Alpe di Siusi is short, charming and without any difficulties. The incredible backdrop of the Sciliar with the towers of the Euringer and Santner peaks in front of your eyes takes you uphill through beautiful larch meadows. A six-seater chairlift means that you are hardly ever alone at the summit of the Spitzbühl. As compensation, there is a restaurant open during lift operating hours where you can indulge in good food, coffee and a glass of South Tyrolean wine while taking in the stunning scenery before heading back downhill through paradisiacal meadows.
From Siusi we take the Alpe di Siusi cable car up to the mountain station. Here we take the local road 200 m to the right (south) into the center of Kompatsch, 1844 m. We follow the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm road 200 m to the right (west) downhill to the left fork of footpath no. 4, on which we walk southwest through meadows down to the Jaggl-Schwaige on the old Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm road. We follow this road to the Hotel Seelaus and then take a footpath on the right-hand side of the Frommerbachgraben to the Spitzbühllift valley station, 1715 m (with parking lot and bus stop for line 10), which is located just above the Gasthof Frommer at a bend in the Seiser-Alm road. Here we turn left and follow the narrow asphalt road (path no. 5) through beautiful larch meadows in twists and turns, sometimes steeply southwards up to the Rungger Schwaige, 1878 m, which offers a wonderful view of the Schlern, Euringer and Santner peaks (right). We continue uphill along the asphalt road through
