    Roadbook

From the Gmoa Arena, briefly on the paved foot-/bike path along the federal road, after a small downhill section you reach the Großgmain residential area. Along the Weißbach mostly on paved paths to the state border. Keeping right, slightly ascending to the Marienkirche. Passing the church on the left, you can descend to the Weißbach at the end of a paved path. Follow the path along the stream until a bridge allows crossing. Back on Bavarian territory, turn left and follow the sidewalk along Leopoldstraße until a paved path (Harbacher Straße) intersects from the right. Follow it to the junction of Harbacher Steig, which moderately ascends to the Bayerisch Gmain residential area. At a turning area with a chapel, briefly follow Feuerwehrheimstraße, then immediately turn left again at houses to Sonnensteig. Descend on the paved promenade and over open meadows with a beautiful view to paved paths (Taufkirchenweg). Continue straight, cross Großgmainstraße at the Haus des Gastes, and cross meadows to Dorbauernstraße. Follow it, turn left into Untersbergstraße and through it to the main road (B 20). Return on the paved foot-/bike path to the starting point.
