This route was designed to enable hikers to easily cross the old boatyards and also to observe the famous airport of Skiathos from different points of view.

You can also arrive to Skiathos by flying dolphin or Catamaran High speed through the following ports: Thessaloniki, Volos, Agios Konstantinos, Alonissos, Skopelos(Glossa), Skopelos, Trikeri (Pilio)
Airline connections from Athens Airport "El. Venizelos" to Skiathos Airport "Alexandros Papadiamantis" can be found throughout the year. During summer you can access Skiathos from all over the world, by a combination of flights or directly to Skiathos.

The section of the route from the port to the airport viewing point is fully accessible, with flat ground, sidewalks and asphalt road that is turned into a pedestrian road at certain times of the day.
The section of the route from the airport viewing point to Xanemos beach consists of a road without sidewalk and a path with uneven terrain and some parts with steep terrain, which make the section unsuitable for people with mobility problems. The technical difficulty of this part is not especially demanding, so people with mild mobility problems and basic hiking experience can complete it.
Keep in mind that this route is linear, so visitors have to hike the route back, or find another form of transportation to take them back to the port.
