Let's go to Bodenmais' local mountain! This hike starts at Silberberg valley station and passes the old tunnels to the middle station, where you pass the miners’ tavern, the entrance to the healing tunnel, and the "burnt-out place." Along a narrow, rocky path it finally goes up to the summit of Silberberg (955m). Enjoy the wonderful panorama over Bodenmais and the Zellertal or look on the other side over the Brandtner valley into the Bavarian Forest National Park. The return path leads back through a dense mixed deciduous forest to the valley station.

Starting point Silberberg valley station accessible via hiking bus 6198 in combination with the local line, or directly with the local line.
