The hike starts leisurely in the monastery village of Menzingen and leads along secluded paths through the typical moraine landscape of national significance. The view of the gently curved, perfectly shaped hills with their lindens on the summits is a feast for the eyes. Up and down, past old farmhouses, it then goes down to the border river Sihl. Passing the beautifully located Restaurant Sihlmatt, you now enter a unique landscape. You are now at the Sihlsprung. Here, rapids and sandbanks shape the landscape. The path now leads through dark, damp tunnels, over roots and stones in a lush up and down along the Sihl, which at first flows leisurely, becoming narrower and wilder. Along the hiking trail, you will repeatedly find beautiful resting places directly by the river. Mainly through forest and occasionally over open meadows, the path finally leads along a busy road to Sihlbrugg. Here is the bus stop (attention, unlike usual, only on one side of the road opposite the gas station).
