We start at the impressive soldiers' cemetery in Ittenbach and first accept the noise of the A3 and the ICE line while heading through Laagsbusch towards Gräfenhohn. Also here, on the edge of the residential area, there is a hiking parking lot that is somewhat hidden and can serve as a starting point. Now the traffic noise is long gone, and a lovely stream valley welcomes us, repeatedly astonishing with the surprisingly quiet valleys in the Siebengebirge. At the end of the Laubach valley, we cross the Pleisbach in Nonnenberg and, along a meadow with a great view back to the Oelberg, enter the Heisternbusch. Light, tall deciduous forest accompanies us on the way to the Hühnerberg. Shortly after leaving the forest, we reach the conveyor belt transporting stones from the Hühnerberg quarry to the loading station. The view of the Siebengebirge panorama alone makes this hike worthwhile. In Quirrenbach, we meet a chapel from the chapel hike again and tackle the next stream crossing. After the wooden bridge over the Quirrenbach, we turn right to climb up and, after a few hundred meters, turn right to follow the stream. We reach the curve of the L143, which we briefly follow downhill to enter the Logebach valley. We accompany this valley under the motorway, passing Laagshof, and head back towards the soldiers' cemetery. It is a surprising hike with many small, pleasant encounters with a different side of Königswinter.

The paths are largely paved or well-graveled. From the bridge in Nonnenberg, 500 meters of forest path, then forest trail to the edge of the woods. The path along the Quirrenbach after the Quirrenbach mill can be muddy after rainfalls and in autumn and spring.Rest stop

Equipment
The backpack should be well filled, as there are no opportunities to stop for refreshments during the hike, but great spots to sit down, enjoy what you brought, and take in the viewLocalization
