6th stage of the circular hike through the Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj)
Semily - Rieger Path - Semily
On the way from Semily to the Rieger Path, you pass the Father & Son statue and the castle. The fantastic hike through the picturesque Jizera Valley leads you over a 77 m long suspension gallery to the magnificent viewpoints: Böhmova vyhlídka (Antonin Böhm viewpoint), Myši skála vyhlídka (Mouse Rock), Vyhlídka U Bakala, Moravska Jiřička & Peretka viewpoint. Other stops on the Rieger Path include the Antal Staška Spring (source), an approx. 12 m long rock tunnel, and the still active Podspálov hydropower plant next to the Pod Spálov inn at the mouth of the Kamenice river.
