Seenland Oder-Spree (D) - Schlaubetal
Smell the forest, feel the creek sand with your toes, peace is when birds sing, hiking in a landscape painting – that is the Schlaubetal Nature Park.
Located just about 80 km east of Berlin in the Seenland Oder-Spree, lies probably the most beautiful stream valley in Brandenburg. The Schlaube, emerging in the Wirchenwiesen, winds dreamily through wildly romantic valleys, swampy meadows, sometimes dense bushes, sometimes wide forests, and feeds picturesque lakes with its clear water. The 25 km long Schlaubetal hiking trail invites you in this seclusion and soothing silence to a pleasurable hiking experience.
