From the parking lot at Seehofweiher, the 3.9 km long stroller route follows the marking of the Pfälzer Waldpfad until it meets the marking of the Erlenbach Hans-Trapp-Route. Past the Fischweiher and the Frauenwoog, it returns on the signs of the Kapellen-Pilgerweg past the bathing lake Seehof with a beautiful lawn and kiosk back to the starting point.

Please give priority to agricultural and forestry traffic.
Author’s recommendation
The route at the bathing lake "Seehof" offers relaxation, where not only a managed kiosk invites you to refresh and linger but also the lake with its swimming opportunities provides a pleasant change. A visit to the nearby Burg Berwartstein is definitely worthwhile.

Safety information
Especially in autumn, care should be taken as fallen leaves on the ground can cover unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path. After thunderstorms or rainstorms, trees may still fall or branches may fall afterwards. In adverse weather conditions, natural paths may become muddy and slippery. Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. Surefootedness is required in places. You must expect such path impairments when hiking. If you consider certain path sections impassable, you should avoid them. Despite the "unambiguous" marking of the premium hiking trails, we always recommend carrying a suitable hiking map for safety reasons, so that in case of thunderstorms or emergencies you can quickly find a safe area.
NOTE:
We strive to announce all closures caused by forestry work or hunting societies on this platform. Nevertheless, there are situations where trails are closed and we may not have been informed. If you encounter closures or detours on-site, please observe the notices for your own safety.
