A unique lake landscape awaits us high above the Pustertal valley, at the foot of the striking Seefeldspitz. Like a fjord, the large Seefeldsee is nestled in an impressive rocky landscape. The middle and small Seefeldsee lakes, on the other hand, lie on a gentle, grassy plateau. If you don't have any summit ambitions, you should definitely walk as far as the middle lake, where there are wonderful places to rest. We take a leisurely stroll along the lake shore to the north and climb through a rocky passage up to the Seefeldalm, 2340 m. After a short flat section, the path is steep and somewhat arduous, as it is deeply washed out, to the middle Seefeldsee, 2501 m, which lies on a water-rich plateau. The hike across this plateau, along small streams and springs to Kleiner Seefeldsee, 2514 m, is a pleasure. Shortly after the Kleiner Seefeldsee, the path branches off to the right to the Paulscharte and down to Pfunders. Here we keep left and climb on a kind of terrace, finally along the summit ridge to the Seefeldspitz. The descent follows
