Shortly after the alm take the right fork towards Aiblinger Hütte and Schweinsberg. Up to Kotalm still a wide forest road, from Kotalm then a short section of mountain path, then again a wide gravel path up to a ridge with a fork: straight ahead to Wendelstein and left up to the Schweinsberg summit.
Take the left path and then climb a rocky and steep mountain path, partially over crags but not difficult, up to the summit cross.
Return route from the summit of Schweinsberg to the ridge as on the way up. On the ridge through the fence towards Wendelstein, first quite flat along a meadow slope and finally a short climb through forest and over roots and stones to the gravel path at Elbach Alm.
