Starting point is the Gasthof Bachrain in Moosegg. Trail No. 844 leads to Schwarzer Berg, probably the most beautiful lookout mountain in Tennengau. Ascent 2 – 2.5 hours. Steep and strenuous ascent (mountain boots required). The beautiful view makes up for the fact that there is no spring at the summit (stamping point). The descent can also be done to Scheffau via Lehngriesalm (No. 91), steep – and you must be sure-footed.
