Schwalbenstein route

From our starting point, the hiking parking lot in the town center of Hohenfurch, we follow the Schönach to the east. Passing the Hohenfurch parish church and the Schönachhof inn, we reach the late Gothic St. Ursula Chapel after a gentle ascent. We walk along the forest and finally turn left into the Liberalswald. On the quiet forest path, we reach the junction leading up to the Schwalbenstein. From here, we can enjoy the view of the nearby Alpine range. The path now leads us further north along the steep bank of the Lech. Finally, we turn left. The path leads us back out of the forest to our starting point.
