From Going at the Wilder Kaiser we hike to the Schleierwasserfall, which plunges about 60 m at the foot of the Maukspitze into the depths. Maybe we will meet climbers here, whom we can watch doing their acrobatics. We can rest at the Graspoint Niederalm.
Our starting point Going is located in the Söllland between the Kaiser Mountains and the Kitzbühel Alps and is a popular holiday destination all year round. Attractions include the recreation and sports opportunities in the very scenic mountains, the traditional Tyrolean farms and inns, and last but not least the warm hospitality. Going has also been awarded the mountain trail quality seal. The Schleierwasserfall, the destination of our hike, plunges about 60 m from a rock dome into the depths. The characteristic rocky landscape of this region is very popular with climbers. On warm days, we can bathe in the basin, a so-called gumpe, below the waterfall.
