This varied hike with forest and meadows, views, castle, and rocks begins in the small town of Schlettau. Above the marketplace, we first pass the Schlettau town church St. Ulrich, which features an oddity on the outside: the monk's head on the east side. On the church path, we head to Walthersdorf, then climb through the forest to the Scheibenberg, a distinctive plate mountain, which, like the Bärenstein (tour »Bärenstein and Vejprty«), is easily visible from afar. The crowning conclusion of the hike is Schlettau Castle high above the Zschopau valley, one of the oldest castles in the Ore Mountains (around 1500). In its romantic park, many old trees and two ponds can be seen. In front of the manor house entrance, a small herb garden invites you.

At a fork, we stay on the paved path and keep right. In Walthersdorf, we go straight past the cemetery chapel and through several intersections. After Alte Scheibenberger Straße, continue briefly straight, then veer diagonally right into the forest trail. For a while, follow the hiking sign yellow bar. At a T-junction, turn left, then continue always straight on the main path. At an intersection, cross the paved path straight ahead. After about 50 m, we pass a shelter. The path steadily leads uphill. Back in the forest, we continue straight. Diagonally right goes over a
