Scenic hike on lonely paths on the west side of the Untersberg.
From Hallthurm on the Maximiliansreitweg, flat towards Bischofswiesen. Up to the junction of the Nierntal forestry road. Then on the wide forestry road to the Nierntalsattel and further up over the "Reissenschnaggler." The scenic Scheibelkopf is a few meters from the path within view. The last part of the route leads to the unmanaged Reissenkaser.
