Roadbook

From the mountain station, first head down the road to the hollow, then follow the signs for the “Schattberg Höhenrundweg” along a path.

From the basin, first cross alpine pastureland to a crossroads and continue to the Marxtenscharte, then through a windbreak and back across open terrain. Continue until you pass the avalanche galleries on the north side and finally return via a wide cirque back along the track to the starting point.
