Attractive Peaks at Füssener Jöchle

Before the ridge south of Füssener Jöchle rises to the main Tannheimer peaks, it forms two distinctive medium-sized mountains. Läuferspitze and Schartschrofen can be connected into a nice, lively tour. And especially from Schartschrofen, the view is breathtaking: very close are the high walls of Gimpel, 2176 m, and at the feet lies Lake Haldensee. Short but demanding scrambling sections with via ferrata character spice up the route when crossing Läuferspitze (variant), which is bypassed on the east side in the main tour.

From the valley station of the Füssener-Jöchle-Bahn at Grän, take the gondola lift comfortably up to the mountain station at 1818 m, which is located directly at Füssener Jöchle. From here, we cross a mountain path through grassy terrain towards the southeast ("Schartschrofen, Otto-Mayr-Hütte, 414") and soon reach the Raintaler Joch, 1840 m, east of Läuferspitze. Here, a fascinating view opens up to the wild and steep north face of Gimpel (2176 m).At the pass, we keep right ("Schartschrofen"), initially follow the ridge uphill and then hike to the left. This way, we cross the steep east slopes of Läuferspitze and reach Läuferspitzscharte at about 1880 m. Here, we keep south ("Schartschrofen"), changing the ridge side (great view down into the Tannheimer valley) and hike through dwarf pines on a rooty and sometimes muddy path to Hallergehrenjoch, 1851 m. From the pass, there is a short but rewarding detour to Schartschrofen. For this, continue straight ahead and climb through a dwarf
