Start at the Naturwassertretbecken "Auf der Heide" and head into the rolling hills of Upper Lusatia. The route leads you along a mix of asphalt, forest paths, and wild trails, offering a diverse hiking experience.
Ascend steadily towards Horní Světlá and Dolní Světlá, traversing steep, sometimes narrow sections that demand surefootedness. Make time to pause at the Lausche / Luz (793 m) summit and the Lausche lookout tower for sweeping views. For a well-earned break, rest at Sonnebergbaude – Wanderhotel & Restaurant, Horska Chata Luz, or Rübezahlbaude, all inviting rest stops along the way.
Continue through forested areas and past the unique Lauschemoor (Hochmoor), before gradually descending back toward the starting point, completing this rewarding loop.
