All'andata, il percorso segue la fondovalle, in un percorso curato e divertente anche per il cicloturista, vietato alle auto. Il rientro in costa è, al contrario, più trafficato: si raccomanda attenzione. Il percorso include una piccola deviazione verso l'Osteria Bellaria: da visitare, al di là dell'apparenza esterna, per trovare un buon tartufo (anche bianco se avete fortuna!)
